Students get inspired

Our Year 11 design and technology students had the opportunity to attend the Clothes Show Live at Birmingham NEC Arena.

The fantastic day out to the UK's largest and most talked about fashion & beauty event of the year gave our students a chance to attend design and trend seminars, fashion clinics and visit the fashion theatre. Not only that, students also had the opportunity to speak with universities about possible courses for further education and also people within the fashion industry to see what career options were available to them.

The event inspired many of our students to pursue further education in fashion, and they had lots of their queries answered. We hope it has generated some ideas for their own designs and creations in their GCSE projects.
