Personalising learning

The Religious Education department have been successfully trialling the academy’s new marking policy known as S.L.I.P. marking. Teachers provide Strength, Level and Improvement comments for each piece of work. Students then respond with their own comment to let the teacher know they have read the feedback and, to explain the steps that they are going to take to make progress. The feedback provided by S.L.I.P. marking means that RE lessons have an even stronger focus on students’ individual needs.
