Our first annual reading week

At the start of next term we will have our first annual reading week which we are very excited about.

The theme for the week will be ‘supernatural’ and will involve all departments across the academy. The aim of the week is to encourage students to engage with reading in different subject areas and to develop students’ reading skills, allowing them to use and develop different reading strategies.

Literacy comprises a number of fundamental skills and is always a key focus at NBA; the week shows our commitment to consistently raise standards among our students.
