Teamwork shines through

Our Gifted and Talented students in Year 9 were invited to a technology event at Great Barr School. The event provided students with taster sessions and insight into food technology, engineering and graphic design.

Our Year 9’s teamed up with students from other schools to complete the challenge that was set. The brief was to ‘design and make a car out of cake.’
Some fantastic cakes were made as a result of impressive teamwork and good communication skills.

Students left inspired and informed about the different industries, and learnt a number of skills which can be transferred into future technology lessons.
