Developing critical thinking skills
Through the study of a range of religious rules and codes of conduct, our Year Seven students have been learning about the similarities and differences between a range of religions and the importance of dialogue between them. As part of this, the Year Sevens have been reflecting on, and discussing, their own beliefs and values and, using examples from religious texts and other sources, they have been discussing their thoughts and opinions on what they believe is right and wrong. Students are also being encouraged to think critically about ethical and moral situations they may find themselves in.
