NBA in the news
THE sky’s the limit at NBA. We have a very clear vision. We are determined that our students succeed and leave us as confident, articulate and aspirational young people, fully prepared for life and work in the 21st century. With this in mind, we started 2011 with a strong focus on supporting and challenging our students to develop their English and literacy skills which are absolutely essential for their future education and employment goals.
NBA`s programme to support NQT/GTP/PGCEs and 2nd yr teachers in the early stages of their professional careers has been recognised as having a significant impact on teaching and learning across the school. By focusing on strategies which share good practice and planning good/outstanding lessons, NBA has supported and guided young teachers to grow as they begin their careers. This has strengthened the whole workforce. It has been recognised by the LA and partnership Universities as examples of good practice and shared with other E-ACT academies.
