A brief background

The project has been seven years in the making and has involved huge amounts of discussion and decision making. It began with a sketch on a piece of paper but we have now reached the exciting stage of looking at all the new furniture and equipment we will need to ensure each classroom is fully equipped with the latest technologies and necessary resources to provide a superior and outstanding learning environment for our students and our students of the future.

• April 2011 - Planning permission granted

• June 2011 - Work starts on site
• From February 2013 - Students and staff move into new building
• From February-June 2013 - The old building will be demolished and landscaping completed
