New Buildings

A brand new build

Work is well under way on our new £23.6 million building which will be opening in February 2013. During the course of this exciting new development, students, staff and visitors to the Academy have noticed an amazing change to the landscape and we are eagerly awaiting the state-of-the-art facilities and fantastic learning resources that will be the end result.

This is an incredibly exciting time for the Academy and supports the rapid progress we are making academically, sitting in the top 5% of schools nationally for progress and being oversubscribed in the current Year 7.

A source of local pride

It won’t just be NBA students who will benefit from our new build. The community and our local primary schools will also have access to the top class facilities which will include a four court sports hall, dance, activity and rehearsal studios and a fully equipped gym and theatre. In addition to this, the community will have access to a full range of educational facilities for meetings and adult and family learning. These will be available throughout the year, including evenings and weekends.
