NBA student reporters

We now have 10 trained NBA reporters at the Academy comprising Year 10, 11 and 12 students who were trained by Miss Cerrone.

The reporters provide a bookable resource to report on and highlight events, trips, visits or exciting activities both within and beyond the curriculum and Academy.

The reporters can produce newspaper style reports and television news reports - whatever you desire.

Reports will be available on the website and in the Academy news letter.

Reporter's Mission Statement

NBA News Reporters are a group of students from across our diverse Academy community. Our job is to  make sure news is delivered to everyone from the perspective of students.

We promise to make out news honest, interesting and up-to-date and to use the latest technologies to bring NBA news to everyone.

How We Got Started

In November 2011 students from different year groups gathered together to discuss what matters when it comes to news and reporting news. Thoughts and feelings were shared from the students and we concluded  that news should ideally be coming from the students themselves and not from adults or authority figures.
