Governors
The majority of governors are appointed by the sponsor. The governing body also includes the Principal and key Academy partners. Other Governors are drawn from the community, and include individuals with strong local links to higher and further education, from local businesses and sports teams, a representative of a local feeder primary school and legal and financial professionals, as well as two local authority representatives, two governors from the Academy staff (one teaching, one support) and two elected parent governors.
