‘Raising Aspirations Day’

Each year, NBA organise and host a ‘Raising Aspirations’ Day for our Year 9 students. The event takes place prior to the Year 9 Options Evening and is designed to provide students with a clearer idea of what qualifications are needed for different careers.
Employers from a range of local, national and international companies are invited to the academy to talk to students about their organisation, the opportunities available and the qualifications needed to pursue a career in the relevant field. In 2012, the academy were delighted to welcome representatives from international law firm, Pinsent Masons LLP, retail giant, Marks & Spencer Ltd and property company, Lend Lease and many more.
