A day at Kerrang
Do you ever wish you could go to a place that you admire? Do you ever wish that you could go somewhere that is part of most people’s every day life?
Well, if your answer is yes, then it's time to envy some of the Year 11 media studies students as they got the opportunity to go to the popular, famous and amazing Kerrang Radio Station! On the 17/01/12 media students got to visit Kerrang Radio Station and have a tour around. After the tour, they learnt about what makes a radio show a radio show. Following this, they were split into two groups and given the task of planning their own radio show. If that wasn’t enough, they then went into the recording studio with producers and recorded and edited their show! It was an incredible day that not only helped Year 11 students with their media work, but also gave them the opportunity to work in an area of work that is one of the most desired in the world! As well as meeting famous radio station presenters and producers!
The students would like to thank both the Academy for paying and organising this once in a life time opportunity, but also the Kerrang radio crew for their commitment to them.
