Gifted and Talented
We pride ourselves in identifying our students’ talents and their ability to excel in different areas. The departments in the school provide specialised curriculum provision which includes Gifted and Talented days, extra curricular activities for example artist in residence, trips to consolidate learning and stretch and challenge the more able.
Each department ensures that learning is tailored to meet individual needs including extension activities which stretch and challenge.
On Saturday mornings, John Denaro an artist, comes into work with some of our gifted and talented artists.
Theatre companies such as Round Midnight and the RSC provide activities to stretch and challenge our budding actors and they also provide innovative approaches to developing all our learners so that all students positively achieve.
